

As a research assistant at a chair in Business Management, focusing on Human Resource Management, he did his PhD on the issue of executive development. He has been working as a coach since 1985.
In his capacity as Executive Director and Partner of three nationally and internationally leading consultancies (ten years of these at KPMG), with a focus in executive search, human resources consulting and change management, he was able to gain in-depth managerial and project responsibility. He focused on leadership advisory services for young executives, careers advice, executive development and change management.
In addition, as a fixed-term HR manager in a small business in Southern Germany, he was able to gain in-depth experience in traditional personnel work with emphases on HR strategy as well as personnel and organisational development.
Through ongoing professional and personal development he offers our clients support with solutions based on up-to-date knowledge. His sees his role particularly in having an “arms length” view of problems as a sparring partner and devising alternative perspectives and courses of action together with the client. He places great importance on developing mutual trust between client and consultant, which facilitates openness, a constructive work climate and enjoyment—despite occasionally difficult issues.
The professionalisation of coaching in Germany is particularly close to his heart. As a member of the Board of the International Coach Federation he is focused on developing and enhancing professional standards in the coaching industry.
