In his second career in the early 1990s, Konrad Lenniger trained as Human Resources Management and Reengineering Consultant for Gemini Consulting in Bad Homburg and Berten & Partners in Amsterdam. At the same time he received a trainer/coach education at BMW in Munich. In combining these experiences and talents, he founded two companies: Psychonomics, now a leading market research company and Training Systems, a training and coaching company that specialises in serving the requirements of Fortune 500 companies.
Focusing on integrated leadership and sales development systems, together with his associates Konrad Lenniger managed, developed and implemented customised leadership, sales development and coaching programmes for many companies at a national and international level. Such companies were Coca-Cola, IBM, BMW Group, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Siemens, HypoVereinsbank, Lear Corporation, OBI, Pearson Television, Nokia, Cisco Systems, Ford Motor Company, ThyssenKrupp, Henkel, Morgan Stanley and Permira to name but a few.
After he stepped down from his position as Managing Director at the end of 2001, he dedicated himself exclusively to providing leadership, executive coaching and onboarding advisory services.
As early as the beginning of the 1990s he coached executives at all levels at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco in Cologne. These coaching sessions were based on a management style test (EQ) he developed. Ever since Konrad Lenniger has undergone ongoing training as an executive coach and belongs to several international organisations. Over the past ten years Konrad Lenniger has primarily coached board members and executive directors (Global, EMEA, CEE, APAC and National).
Konrad Lenninger’s expertise is based not only on academic diplomas in social work, educational sciences (social psychology) and economics, but in particular on his long-standing international experience (USA, Africa, Europe, CEE, Russia, Japan and China). He is fluent in German and English (native speaker level) and lives in Cologne.
